Tesla Motors - Electric Car

When I first watched the Tesla Roadster on tv I was awestruck. Finally here was an electric car that everyone would want to drive. From the looks of it many will be soon driving it.
My thoughts immediatly went to how, when coupled with a home with solar power how economical this car could really be to drive.
With approximatly 220 miles per charge it would make it the perfect commuter car.
When coupled with the 0 to 60 time of 3.9 seconds, well it might even make you forget about going to work!
This clearly shows that given the ingenuity of designers today, we will see more designs that really appeal to you and I.
Now if they could only come up with a truck that looked that good, I really think they would have something going.
One day in the not too
One day in the not too distant future, I hope to see a riced-out civic with custom rims and an extremely loud stereo (crappy music, of course) roll up to a Tesla roadster and try to race it. It is on that day that I will declare the internal combustion engine to be on its way out!
